Cookie Policy

Expressions defined in Our Terms of Use have the same meaning in this policy.

What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that We store on your browser or the hard drive of your computer, if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive and allows Us to learn about your use of Our Website. A cookie does not give Us access to your computer or any other information about you.

How We Use Cookies

Our Website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of Our Website, and to remember your preferences, so that We can provide you with a good experience when you browse Our Website and improve Our site.

Our Website displays products available both in the UK and abroad. Issuing and storing a cookie on your computer allows Us to recognise your geographical location and take you directly to the correct version of Our Website when you visit.

We use application programming interfaces (“APIs”) to improve the functionality of Our Website and to tailor its content to the different geographical areas We cover; these may set their own cookies. The APIs We use may change from time to time as technology and Our business evolve. For current information about the APIs We use, please contact Us.

We use session cookies to help Our Website remember page and data changes as you move from page to page. When you first visit Our Website, a cookie is created which stores a PHP session ID that We use to reference you across multiple page views; this session ID is never passed on to any third-party service provider.

We may also use third-party applications, such as Google Analytics, to carry out statistical analysis on Our behalf, including tracking visitor behaviour and site visits. These third-party applications may use their own cookies, and you should check the relevant provider’s own cookie policy for details. For current information about the third-party applications We use, please contact Us.

When you visit Our Website, you will automatically be directed to the country or region in which you can view local retailers offering discounted products, based on your geographical location. We store this information by issuing a cookie, so that each time you visit Our Website you are directed to the relevant country or region. You can set, and update, your default location at any time.

If you choose to register as a user on Our Website, We will issue a cookie to store your user ID, username and user status, so that you can save your favourite items and retrieve them on a later visit.

We may from time to time use any of the following types of cookie:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the operation of Our Website — for example, cookies that let you log in to secure areas of Our Website.
  • Statistical / analytical cookies. These allow Us to recognise and count the number of visitors and see how they move around Our Website, helping Us to improve it — for example, by ensuring users are finding what they are looking for easily.
  • Functionality / appearance cookies. These recognise you when you return to Our Website, and let Us personalise Our content for you and remember your preferences (for example, your geographical location and your favourite items).
  • Targeting cookies. These record your visit, the pages you view and the links you follow. We use this information to make Our Website, and the products displayed on it, more relevant to your interests, and We may share it with third parties for this purpose.

Your Consent

Strictly necessary cookies, and cookies that are used solely for statistical purposes or to remember your on-screen preferences (such as your chosen store), do not require your consent, although you can still switch them off using your browser settings and We will always offer you a free way to opt out. Any other cookie — including functionality cookies that go beyond remembering simple preferences, and any targeting cookies — is only set with your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time using Our cookie banner or your browser settings.

Third-Party and Affiliate Cookies

Please note that Our affiliates, retailers and other third parties (including, for example, advertising networks and providers of web-traffic analysis services) may also use cookies, over which We have no control. Please check the relevant third party’s own cookie policy.

How to Manage or Delete Cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time by changing your browser settings, which let you refuse the setting of all or some cookies and delete cookies that are already stored. How to do this varies by browser, so please check the “Help” function in your browser, or visit www.aboutcookies.org for general guidance.

If you use your browser settings to block all cookies, including strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to access all or parts of Our Website.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may change the types of cookie We use, and this policy, from time to time as Our Website and Our business evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page. For current information about the cookies We use, please contact Us.
